Opening Ceremony

The 5th South East European Congress of Perinatal Medicine and the 4th Pan-Hellenic Congress on Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology will host an Opening Ceremony and a Welcome cocktail will follow. Participation in the Opening Ceremony is included in the registration feefor delegates and registered accompanying persons

Tour of the Royal Tombs of Vergina

Enjoy a four-hour tour of Vergina, one of the most famous archeological sites in Northern Greece and listed as a World Heritage site, where you will get the chance to explore the royal tombs of Philip II, the King of Macedonia and father of Alexander the Great, as well as the rich and impressive artifacts on display in the museum. The discovery of King Philip's tomb in 1977 was hailed as one of the greatest archaeological finds of the century and you will get the chance to visit the remains of the monumental palace of the Kingdom of Macedonia, lavishly decorated with mosaics and amazing frescoes, which are rare samples of painting from antiquity.
